In August of 2018 we were contacted regarding production of a large range of signage to contribute to the refurbishment of the recently vacated police station in Retford. The intention was for the building to be converted into a Hotel / Bar & Restaurant and as a new business with competition in the area it was important for their image to stand out from what was already available.

With a logo already designed and available for use they required us to expand on this and create an image through signage, stationary and window graphics. The customer had an opening date in mind and with a deadline to work to we were quick to establish where the signage was required and to what extent through multiple site visits. As the building was going through a complete refurbishment we were able to assist in advising on the position of signage throughout the site development.

Although we had the logos available it was our responsibility to produce suitable artwork to suit the existing graphics throughout the design process. This also included a photography package which would contribute towards a number of the window graphics and also leaflets that the customer would potentially need in the near future, with the idea being to highlight some of Retford Town’s historical monuments.

Following approval of the design process, we moved onto the production stage and were able to successfully meet their October deadline. Following the well received opening of the Hotel, Bar & Restaurant the customer requested additional items including directional di bond signs and acrylic cut reception desk signage. The customer was overjoyed with the outcome and has continued to use our services for further requirements.
